The Double Diamond is a popular design thinking model from the UK Design Council, visually represented by two diamonds, that guides teams through problem-solving by alternating between exploring widely (divergence) and focusing narrowly (convergence) across four phases: Discover, Define, Develop, and Deliver, helping to understand a problem fully before creating and testing solutions for it. It moves from broad research to a specific problem statement, then from many potential solutions to a single, tested final product.
